good day
one of our clients runs a number of it's scheduled jobs using legacy scheduler
i am in the process of migrating all of those jobs to the "proper" scheduler, but would like to get something clear in my mind before we press on
my hope is that if someone could explain how these jobs actually execute
is this roughly how it works
- workflow created and added to scheduler using Options>>Schedule Workflow from Designer
- workflow is executed from the legacy scheduler, executing yxmd via the local Designer installation from wherever it resides
the reason I ask is that if we remove one of the users (who has left) who has scheduled will the scheduled job still execute?
all info & advice is greatly appreciated.
cheers, ianjonna

Hi @ianjonnaCAA ,
I assume you mean you're migrating from Desktop Scheduler to the server?
If so, these are completely separate products and you would need to manually publish the workflows to the appropriate security groups on the server and set up the schedules there.

thanks for that MacBulien 😀
i was umm-ing and aaah-ing whether to go into Server and click on <Migrate> or whether to publish manually.
decision made - I am going to do a quick demo and get all the wflows published to Server by the users, themselves.
cheers again
