Help on - Alteryx Server Usage Report

Hi,

When I am running the Alteryx Server Usage Report workflow, 3 files were produced to a location -

D\Program Files\Alteryx\Engine.................

How can I change the path? I want these 3 files will be saved to another directly after running from Gallery.

Please help.

You need to edit the macro to change that path.

Can you please check and change the below location on your designer configuration runtime setting page?  Then the output will be saved in your mentioned location.

I tried to change the path to a Shared drive -

And ran the workflow, I can see It's not working -

The files are available in that path. As per Business requirement, the output files must be directly saved to a Shared folder.

What should I do?

Hi @RE5260 , 

Yes, you are correct the file will be saved in the temporary directory. You have to configure the run command tool inorder to copy the files from the temp location to the file server location. 

Please note that whenever the workflow completed the temporary files will be automatically removed/deleted from the path.

Is it possible to save the output of the Alteryx Usage report workflow directly to our desired location when running from Alteryx Gallery?

How do I use the Run command tool integrated into this process to construct a custom workflow? Kindly give me about any documents you may have.
