Gallery Update to server

Is it possible to update a table in a server using the interface tools and publishing to the Gallery for large scale (company size) use?

I am not quite sure i understand the question. 

If you are asking whether you can create an app that insers data to a database, publish it to the gallery and let the user input values that should be save to the database, then the answer is yes.
