Gallery Service failed to start in a timely fashion, exiting.

hi,

i'm new to alteryx.

our alteryx server is running with localhost domain.

now i'm  trying to change the domain to specific domain. ( to change the baseurl )

but it failed to start the service when i changed the domain.

how can i solve it?

@Tomita is there any other service or application which might be using port 80?  There are a few other causes of this error, but that's usually the first one I check.

Alteryx Service does not start as a service,

But when I start it interactively – it works fine. Please advise me how to run service.

In the "Run As" settings (Options --> Advanced Options --> System Settings --> Run the Worker as a Different User page) do you have your Windows credentials entered?

Yes, I ve tried both options -with default and my account. Result is the same...

The solution was - to extend timeout which Windows gives to service (30 sec by default). I 've extended this timeout and service started successfully.
