I have seen many existing discussions on this topic but I want to understand this with some more clarity.
How teams are implementing the functionality using Alteryx when there is a need to trigger a Alteryx job in the server on receiving the source file in a folder?
Thanks in advance,
Krishna

Hi @fmvizcaino ,
This is amazing! Thanks for breaking things down in a detailed way. I love it.
I perceive that the control containers would offer the same functionality and are simpler to implement.
How about "Block Until Done" tool? It introduces a wait period till the 1st set of tools complete before going to the 2nd set of logic items. Does it stand a chance in this scenario?
Appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Krishna
Hi @Krishnasn ,
The block until done was heavily used until Control Containers appeared. They are very similar but Control Container is way more flexible, whereas Block until done sometimes requires workarounds to order the process as you want.
Best,
