File Upload to Alteryx Gallery is too slow & has issues

Question

Hi all.

I made an analytic app and published to the Alteryx Server, and I've tagged it under a District.

I tried running that app as a test, and uploaded two YXDB files.

However, the YXDBs couldn't even load, and the file input dropdown doesn't work after the upload task abruptly stops and nothing works until I refresh.

When I say abruptly stop, I mean that the upload bar literally just disappeared and I cannot upload new files or interact with the upload tool at all.

1st file is 78,368 KB.

2nd file is 301,173 KB.

Both are YXDB's.

Hoping for some advice. Is it a timeout issue? Is this a config issue?

Unfortunately, we receive files as is, and we cannot send the files to a network folder at the moment because the server is a UAT shared server. The end user I am working with is particular about this, and doesn't want any data stored on a shared sever.

Which is why I am using inputs, as we set the purging of data after 1 day.

Are there alternative ways? Thanks @gabrielvilella

The files are too big and is timing out. I encourage you to use smaller files for apps or configure the workflow to pull data from a network folder.
