Hello!
I have an input data tool that is modeled off a report where the data starts on row 9. When the user browses to this file, it's possible there will be additional/unnecessary columns of data, so I'd like to use field mapping. My question is, is it possible using a file browse and action tool, connected to that input data tool, to allow field mapping that starts on the 9th row of the user input (like it does on the input data tool)?
Hey @michalikm
Not sure if I understood properly your use case.
- You want to field map an excel file
- However data starts on line 9
If that's the case, you can do the following:
and configure the input data as follow:
I get the following:
With this initial test data
By the way, this question should be in the Designer topic :)
Let me know if it helps!
