I have a user that has a WF scheduled to run on the server and when it errors out, she gets a message that it errors and lets her know the server name.
When I go to the server and check the logs nothing is recorded in the logs.She is using the Event tab to generate on success/on failure messages.
If she uses the email tool, she doesn't get a failure message.
Where can I look to find these errors?

You want to take a look at the engine logs.
