Does Server Validation run python script?

Hi All,

I'm getting a strange behavior where I have a python tool the deletes some files from a network folder before rebuilding them with another output. The workflow is setup to have control containers where python runs in one container and then the output tool runs in the second container after the control container completed message appears. I just modified the workflow and saved the file without running it and the network folder is empty. It is as if the python portion of the workflow ran by itself. Is it possible that the server validation caused the python script to execute? IF so, how to I prevent that?

You could uncheck the validation box before saving so that it doesn't run.
