Communication between Controller & Worker in 2 different DC

If I am setting up controller & worker in DC 1 and I would also want to setup another worker node in DC 2, in this scenario how would the Controller in DC 1 communicate with worker in DC 2? Is there any stuff (e.g. network connection, security, configuration etc ) that i need to take note of in this type of setup?

You basically need to make sure that both machines are visible to one another and the port 80 is open. This help page can help you https://help.alteryx.com/20223/server/worker-node-configuration
