Chained Apps not working on Server since update to 2021.4

We have a number of chained apps deployed to our Server instance that decided to stop working when we updated to 2021.4 last week... has anyone else experienced this?  Best I can tell part 1 of the app is running as intended, but when it comes time to launch the next workflow/application in the chain the call is not being made and the new interface doesn't pop up.  To clarify, these all functioned as intended before the update.  I have tried re-uploading these applications to see if a link was just broken during the update and MongoDB migration, but newly uploaded chained apps are not working either.  If anyone has some insight to add before I need to go the support route that would be appreciated!

Yes. While we hadn't used Alteryx chained apps before 2021.4, this is exactly the current behavior of the Server.

I have just tested on 2021.4 and saw the same behavior. I suggest you to open a ticket in the case portal and report this as a bug.

But I would say that you are very brave to upgrade your server with the most current version 😁 We usually suggest to our clients to stay one version behind or wait at least for an additional release. 

Maybe you did, but I would suggest you look at the release notes to check the known issues.

Hi,

 

We were having the same issue. We had to rollback all our server (wasting much time....). It's cleraly not professionnal from Alteryx. I'm really asking myself about their internal testing program...

For your information, we opened a ticket but the first action was to provide all the log file (action that we could not do because we rallforwarded our server.

I really hope that we will be keepped informed when the issue will be closed.
