Chained App Published to the gallery

Currently I have a chained app saved to the gallery. After a server upgrade My app fails when run. 

 

App 1 has two outputs using a relative path that should output to a temp path on C\:. This should be dynamic to the user's instance. 

 

But now when run on the server or locally, App 2 is trying to retrieve from D:\ which is nowhere in my workflow constants. I have tried replacing App 1 outputs as well as App 2 inputs but, no change. App 2 is still trying to retrieve from D:\.
