I have a workflow in my company's server that runs successfully sometimes and fails during others. The error I get is "Cannot access the folder ...". This is the folder where the output files need to be saved.
I don't think it is an access issue because it will always fail if access was the problem. The only action I performed between a failed run and a successful run is - run the workflow in the designer.
Can I get some help with this problem?

Hi @Swetha_L ,
I understand some of these below don`t explain the intermittent issue you are having, but these are just questions to understand where you are now.
Is the folder a local server folder, a shared folder, box, sharepoint, etc?
Are you using UNC path? You can find more about it at the bottom of this tutorial: https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/Paths-and-Alteryx
Also, when publishing the workflow, you have to uncheck the box so the server knows the file must be sent to that folder. Let me know if you are also doing this: https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/Assets-and-Packaging-Workflows-1583460636757

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
It is a shared folder, and I have given the server account access to this folder. I am using a UNC path.
Also, when publishing the workflow, you have to uncheck the box so the server knows the file must be sent to that folder. - Can you tell me which box you are referring to here?
Ok, it looks like you are doing everything correctly when setting up the folder.
The checkbox appears right before publishing the workflow to the server.
When you uncheck the box, that means you want the files to be saved to the folder, and if you check it, the file will be shared in the gallery interface. https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/What-to-check-when-a-workflow-runs-in-Designer-and-not...
By default, when you use UNC, the assets are automatically unchecked, but it is good to verify it.
If it is configured as it should, please share a print screen showing the error and the path in your output data tool.
Thanks,
FErnando Vizcaino
Thank you, that worked.
