Can we run command prompt using rum commnad in Alteryx server ?

Hi Team,

I am trying to schedule my workflow is using “Run command” tool to run some batch command on the command prompt. It is running fine on my local system. I am successfully able to store it on Alteryx server but not able to run the workflow in the Alteryx Server.

I have attached a sample workflow for your reference. Could you please help me with the same ?

Alteryx Version: Alteryx Designer 2018.1 x64

Server (Y/N):  Y

Admin/Non-Admin (A/NA):

Workflow Attached (Y/N): Y

Logs Attached (Database, Engine,etc) (Y/N): N

Hi @himanshu_sharma ,

 

This will happen if your gallery is set to "safe" in the system settings. The "Safe" option in System Settings is designed to restrict capabilities that could be used maliciously such as Run Command, R, Python, Download...
