Auto restart of services

hi friends 

one of our clients has asked that we script up an auto restart of the alteryx service in the case of a server issue (windows)

does anyone have experience of creating such a script in windows and are there any gotchas you came across

You have the recovery menu from the AlteryxService itself.

If I wanted to "restart" Alteryx (not part of a windows reboot) do you think I would only need to script up the "start" and "stop" - details as per this community  post ? Or perhaps is there other task(s) that I would have to include too?

Here you can find an example script for the backup and restoration. You can use parts of it and adapt accordingly.
