Auto restart of services

If I wanted to "restart" Alteryx (not part of a windows reboot) do you think I would only need to script up the "start" and "stop" - details as per this community post ? Or perhaps is there other task(s) that I would have to include too?

Here you can find an example script for the backup and restoration. You can use parts of it and adapt accordingly.
