Hello everyone,
We are currently running Alteryx Server 2020.4 with built-in authentication.
The ability to share to a collection is missing from the sharing option button.
And we have configured the user the way it should.
The weirdest thing is that I'm able to go to the collections page, create a collection and add a workflow from my studio from there. So it seems like a bug and it was happening in 2020.2 version as well.

Hey,
I'd recommend checking out this page: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Discussions/Can-t-Publish-Workflow-to-Collection-as-...
Specifically this post:
This is a reply from Alteryx Support
It seems like with Alteryx Server 2020.1+ the adding to a collection from the workflow page is indeed reserved for Curators.
If a user is part of a Collection, they can add workflows to it by the following steps below:
1. Sign in to Alteryx Gallery
2. Select Collections
3. Select the Collection where you want to add assets
4. Select Add Workflows - Apps and Macros can be also added via Add Workflows button
5. In the search bar, type the Workflow name and select the Workflow when it appears in the list.
Hope this helps.
Hi @BenMoss ,
Thanks for your response. That is exactly what I was doing to add workflows to collection, but it isn't as easy as adding directly from the workflow page.
I have also contacted the support and they related this as a known bug.
The behavior you are encountering is currently a known product defect, defect number DE23826 and has been added to our engineering team's backlog

Is there an ETA on when this bug will be fixed?
Thanks!
