Analytic App with Tableau Output 1.4.1 on Alteryx Server NoneType has no attribute 'get'

Hi everyone,

I published an Analytical App on our org's Server that is used for updating data on our Tableau dashboard using the Tableau Output tool.

The problem is that when I use the app with my synced up credentials everything works fine. But when any external users that have appriopriate permission level "Creator" on a server and the same on collection level they encounter 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'Get' error when they use it by themselves. They do not have any DCM credentials synced on our server. Everytime the workflow was run by our bot with fixed credentials that has access to our shared network drive. But after transition to newer server version we need to use Tableau Output with DCM connection.

Is that issue caused by not syncing up the credentials on external user level? Do I need to republish the workflow to sync up with other people's Tableau Personal Access Tokens everytime when any other person needs to use the tool?

Hi everyone,

I found out the solution to that problem. 

What you need to do is to share the DCM Data Sources on the Alteryx Server to any user of the Alteryx Analytica App hosted on the Server. Permissions to execute only should be enough for most cases.
