Alteryx is running very slow, one of the workflow took 17 mins when usually it takes few seconds otherwise
I hosted it on an EC2 instance, machine size m5.2x large
Could the machine size be the issue?
Please comment
Thanks!

Hi @Srini96 ,
It seems strange to have that kind of increase, maybe if you are using the AMP engine and your machine was way better than your aws machine, but it seems unlikely.
if not familiar with amp engine, see this: https://help.alteryx.com/pt-br/current/designer/alteryx-amp-engine
If you are connecting to a DW, it can be a link problem between the aws server and your DW. My suggestion is for you to run the performance profiling in both machines and check which tool is taking longer to be executed.
You can active that going in the runtime tab of the workflow's configuration.

The AMP engine doesn't seem to be working either.
When I enabled it, it did not make any difference and was not running at all.

And just to give more context,
I'm just running workflows using excel input and not a DW connect.
