Alteryx gallery is getting uninstalled

Hi team,

In a server we installed both Alteryx designer and gallery. But while we are upgrading Designer, Alteryx gallery is getting uninstalled automatically. Is it an expected behavior.

Couple of times same issue happened and for restoration of Alteryx gallery we are performing a server restore.

Can you let me know your current and upgraded server & designer version.?

As much as I remember Alteryx designer is automatically installed on the server when you installed the Alteryxserver.exe.

Hi @laijucbabu are you installing only AlteryxServerInstall.exe? Or both that and AlteryxDesigner.exe?

For an Alteryx Server install, you need only to install the Alteryx Server as it will include Designer.

I would recommended reaching out to support if you are experiencing something outside of this.
