Alteryx Server Gallery

Hi All!

Can anyone confirm whether it is possible to save/store files on the gallery? I would like to output an excel and/or an HTML file onto the gallery and have not been able to find any documentation regarding this.

Also, I am new to Gallery, if anyone has any documents/ tips for publishing and storing workflows I would love to hear it!

Thank you!

Hi @AltAddict26

Can you share a little more about what you mean by outputting the files onto the gallery? What specifically would you like to do with these files?

Some information about how files are handled is available here:

Regarding best practices of publishing and managing workflows, please look to these articles:

Hope this helps?

Thanks

Thank you so much for your response! We wanted to post some kind of FAQ using collections for new users of Alteryx Server gallery ( still in the early stages of the onboarding process). You can only post workflows on gallery and not documentation correct?

Understood!

Closest thing I can think of is to use the 'Media' tab in the panel when logged in from an admin account to host FAQ files on the server.

This can be referenced in Districts as per below, in this example the hyperlink feeds to an FAQ PDF stored in the Media tab of the server:

Guidance on loading Media into the gallery:

Creating Districts:

https://help.alteryx.com/20193/server/administer/districts

From there, you'll see a hyperlink option in the Description field:

Hopefully this addresses what you're looking for?

If this has resolved your problem, please mark it as solved - otherwise please let me know!

Thanks
