Alteryx Server - Error when configuring worker node and controller

Hello,

We are implementing multi-node Alteryx server environment.

We installed/configured controller on Machine A and on Machine B installed Worker only component. During configuration step of worker node when passing the Remote controller information.

Getting the Error "Alteryx Service and Client are incompatible".

I verified the Token is correct and Port 80 on controller node is open & Listening.

Any thoughts what is missing and causing the error.

Are they both running the same version of Alteryx - installed from the same installer file?

Yes, I used the same installer file for both the nodes(Controller & Worker).

I would re-check the Controller Hostname and the Controller Token again

I double verified using both hostname and IP. Still same error.

Do you have other programs running on the worker machine like Tableau Server or McAfee or Skype or Apache....? All of them use port 80 as well

In that case, uninstall them or be sure that they are not using port 80

Try giving FQDN of server

Found the solution it was related to Alteryx server configuration where we have disabled FIPS and made the connection at port 80 between Controller and Worker
