Hi @gowtham185 : check out this resource for additional guidance: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Engine-Works/Simultaneous-Workflows-Guidance/ba-p/538252

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend (# of Physical Cores) / 2 - which in your case would be 32/2 = 16 simultaneous workflows

do we need to have the licesend core for this or Server core

Hi @gowtham185

1) As Alteryx Server sizing is based on physical cores, your 32 vCPU cores will likely translate into 18 physical cores. You can read up on How Alteryx Defines Cores for Licensing.

2) How many # of Simultaneous Workflows will depend on whether your Server is configured to use Alteryx Engine or AMP engine

3) If using Alteryx Engine,  # of Simultaneous Workflows =  # of physical core / 2
If using AMP engine, you can refer to this Link

Alteryx Server licensing is based on the number of physical core to meet your workflow processing demand. I would recommend you work with your Account Executive to arrange a server sizing exercise to determine the optimal number of cores to meet your organization needs.

Hope it helps!
