Activating e2/AMP Engine makes server unresponsive

Hi there,
after finally upgrading to 2021.2, we have tested the AMP Engine in some of our workflows and have seen some performance improvements, especially in large workflows with several different inputs. Of course, we would also like to make use of that on our Server.
Unfortunately, when I enable the e2 Engine on the server (with the option to have both, as we have some legacy e1 workflows that are not playing nicely with the AMP engine), the Gallery becomes unavailable and the whole Alteryx Server seems to be unresponsive (cannot upload or download workflows through Designer).
I have activated the Engine for both the Controller and the Engine, as described here: https://help.alteryx.com/current/server/engine
What's the best way to debug the issue to find the cause for the crash?

Please thank the user for using the AMP Engine. We appreciate all feedback that we can get to help us improve the user experience.
I wanted to make sure that they are aware of the various different settings required to utilize AMP Engine with Server. Here are links to the documentation:
