Loading MDF File

It would be great to have the possibility to load .mdf files.

Hi Marianna,

Thanks for the idea request.  By MDF, do you mean a disc image, similar to an iso?  Can you explain how you use these files?  I believe the use case would be similar to using zip and gzip files, but want to make sure I'm understanding the request.

Would be interested to hear from the community if anyone else uses these types of files.

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,

Great to see such a prompt feedback!

By .mdf I mean files that are typically used with Microsoft SQL server
management studio. These are databases that you can attach and detach. In
particular I'm looking at using Alteryx with Llamasoft, and Llamasoft
models are .mdf files.

Let me know if it makes sense!

Interesting.  I'm glad I asked as that is very different than what I was thinking about.

We will continue to monitor this idea and hope to see additional activity from users needing this type of support.

Best Regards,

Ben
