Clarify silent install documentation

The Install by Command Line documentation, also known as Silent Install Doc, is incomplete. Though it mentions the Predictive installer location, it does not explicitly describe how to peform the installation using the command line, nor does it mention that it is possible. According to the 2017 Alteryx Partner Certification Exam, it is indeed possible to do a silent install of the Predictive tools. Please update the documentation. Thank you.

Thank you for your input - we are looking at how we can make the documentation around command line installs better as we've received multiple requests for clarity.

Hello All ,

To do Silent Installation of the Alteryx software using command line, I found this Silent Install document through online which gives only information on how to Install the software with all the components, how ever if we need to install any specific component through silent mechanism in a distributed Architecture fashion ,we did not find any relevant information about that topic in this document.

Do we have any response file where we can define all the settings for the silent installation, I could see one file called RuntimeSettings.xml in the path  C:\Alteryx\bin\RuntimeData\RuntimeSettings.xml, Please confirm if this file is reusable for the installation with modifications on the entries for distributed environment setup?

Do Alteryx update their documentation up to date? I believe most of the other users from other Clients might have asked the similar question regarding the silent installation documentation for distributed environment.
