Using the Alteryx ETS model, I try to make a sales projection for January 2023 based on a two-year history, but the result is far from reality. In fact, the result is very close to the value of the previous month (December), which is a month with seasonality.

Can someone guide me on how to adjust the model to obtain a more accurate projection?

Hi @Cpirino,

Here is the approach I took:

1. Investigate the data using TS Plot. Seems to suggest an additive trend and seasonality.

2. Change the Model Type settings from Auto to Additive.

3. The result seems more reasonable.
