I have two excel files and I am trying to join them to compare their amounts, I am unable to get expected results. How can I get right results using Alteryx?

Hi @sandhyaharyani,

what happens is the following: The Join Tool checks the First Row from File 1 with the Rows from File 2 and finds a match. It does the same for all rows, that's why you have "duplicates". You can avoid this (and this is what you have in your expected) using a Summarize tool. This reduces the rows in the First file. There will be one row for A and one row For B with the summed up amount.

Workflow attached. Let me know if the explanation was helpful.
