I forgot to mention the Dummy Encoding macro I had uploaded in the gallery few weeks back. It converts all the categorical values to numerical ones through dummy encoding. It is very helpful in Regression problems. Please find attached the macro.
Very nice. I'd love to see something similar to what's possible with R's vtreat or some of the transformations available in sklearn, which can be saved for use at scoring time. (e.g. apply vtreat in R to the training data, and save that exact "treatment plan" off; then at scoring time, load it up to ensure we are treating the "data to score" in the same way we treated the training data; similarly concepts apply with sklearn.prep objects in Python).
