Not able to select a different database for existing Gallery connections for SQL Server within Designer.
In Designer, when selecting an existing Gallery connection, it's not possible to switch or select a database from a SQL Server connection. The gallery connection points to a default database in SQL Server or only one specific database, but the user needs to select a different database to write to the appropriate table.
Have the Gallery Admin user create a new Data Connection pointing to the desired database. Then assign the appropriate user(s) and/or studio(s) to the new Data Connection. See the following help site for more details.
NOTE: Use best practice to name the Gallery Data Connection related to the SQL Server Instance and Database name that it will be configured for.
