AlterYXZ: Spatial

Let's "Elevate" Alteryx to enter the Euclidean space and add the Z-Coordinates to our spatial tools!

you know - I have been chewing through this myself Mark!    While I do definately agree with you that 3-dimensional geometry would be useful, one of the things that I've been trying to work through in my head is how to deal with the fact that the spatial tools in Alteryx are not actually regular cartesian space, they're based on the geometry of a spherical surface - so we'd have to make it clear and obvious to people when they are using spherical geometry vs. cartesian geometry.

 

But genuinely - I have been pondering this one for a while - especially for tasks like network coverage for towers etc.
