Visual Query Builder Not Displaying Table Columns For PostgreSQL

Environment Details

 

When connecting with the Input Tool to PostgreSQL, the Visual Query Builder does not display table columns.

Cause

Using the PostgreSQL ANSI driver may not display the table columns in the Visual Query Builder.



Resolution

Create a new DSN using the PostgreSQL Unicode driver.  You can trying editing the existing DSN and change it from ANSI to Unicode in the Manage DSN option but it may require a Windows reboot for the registry to get updated with the edited value.
