Environment Details


The Input Data or Connect In-DB tool will populate numeric values with "[Null]" instead of a blank cell. Querying with other tools such as SQL Developer show blank cells.

Cause


Region or NLS_LANG conflicts.



Resolution


In the ODBC DSN configuration page for the Oracle ODBC driver used for the connection in Designer, select the option "Use Microsoft regional settings" for the Numeric Settings option. Recreate the Input or In-DB connection and re-test.
