Error: “Netsuite ODBC Connection Error "[NetSuite][ODBC 64bit driver][OpenAcess SDK SQL Engine]You have entered an invalid e-mail address, password or context (AccountID, RoleID) information”

 

Environment Details

 

The below error occurs when connecting to NetSuite via ODBC using an Input Data tool:

Netsuite ODBC Connection Error "[NetSuite][ODBC 64bit driver][OpenAcess SDK SQL Engine]You have entered an invalid e-mail address, password or context (AccountID, RoleID) information

Cause

 

Incorrect e-mail address, password or Account ID, Role ID information.

 

Resolution

 

Solution A 

In the ODBC configuration window:

1. Verify and confirm the e-mail address, password, and Account ID are correct
2. Specify the Role ID to ensure the connection is not using a default Role ID
3. Test the connection via the ODBC configuration window
