Sometimes users have weird display issues with the scaling / resolution in Designer. Examples:
1. Search box:
It doesn’t have the search icon [magnifying glass] nor the cancel icon [x].
Also, Search box works, but the user can't see what he/she typed.
2. The SQL Editor doesn’t show the scroll bar:
3. User cannot scroll or view the entire Interface Designer window, whether it’s docked, floating, expanded, etc.
Prerequisites
Procedure
Change the display scale settings. Either 100% to 125% fixes the problems.
1. Go to the Windows Start Menu.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Select System.
4. Select Display.
5. Look for Scale and layout. Select an option, such as 100% or 125%. Displayed items will appear larger as the scaling increases.
6. Your display will re-size.

Olá, eu gostaria de marcar uma reunião de 30 min com um especialista para tirar uma dúvida pontual do software em que eu não achei a resposta na comunidade. Isso seria possível? Grato desde já.

Hi,
I have followed all of steps above but still nothing changed. Is there another way to fix the issue?
For anyone struggling with this,
I followed the steps outlined above in the 2nd section - altering the AlteryxGui.exe
Followed the steps as outlined, however on step 7 instead of selecting "System" (which didn't make a difference for me)
I tried with "Application" - and my resolution is much better.
i.e.
7. Check "Override high DPI Scaling Behavior; scaling performed by:" and select "Application"
Thanks @seb9191, it worked!!
That particular change in setting changed the resolution but the problem occurs in selecting the checks in Select Tool.
