Cause

 

The Filter tool is only partway configured. There are no values entered on which to split the dataset into true (satisfies expression) or false (does not satisfy expression).

 

 

Resolution

Enter the value(s) for filtering within the field. To write a more complicated filter expression, use the Custom Filter option.
