Environment Details


Issue

When using Table Tool or Render Tool, the below error is returned:

Error in PDF Rendering. Error Number: 4119: FILE OPEN ERROR

Environment 

  • Alteryx Designer
    • All Versions
  • Reporting Tools (table tool, render tool, etc)


Cause


What we believe is happening, is that the system is reporting a given font as on the system, but when the back end tries to open the actual font file to get glyph information, it fails. Usually, there is an incorrectly installed or otherwise "corrupt" font on the given system.



Resolution


Try changing all your font settings in Reporting tools to Default font (Arial).
