When using In-DB tools for connecting to a data source and for creating columns or tables the quoted or not quoted options do not work. The new columns and tables are created with case sensitivity enabled no matter what is chosen in "Table/FieldName SQL Style".





Cause


This behavior is related to a product defect, DE28719. This defect was fixed in 2021.2.



Resolution


No workaround is available. We recommend using the standard tools to create columns and tables without the names being case sensitive.
