DE28086: Intermittent 404 GoogleAPIError NotFound thrown with the Google BigQuery Output Tool

Issue

Workflows fail intermittently when using the Google BigQuery Output tool and the Overwrite Table (Drop) option is selected. The workflow will complete successfully the first time it is run, but may fail with either of the following errors on any of the following runs. This may occur on either Designer or gallery.

Error: Google BigQuery Output (3): 404 GoogleAPIError NotFound: POST https://bigquery.googleapis.com/bigquery/v2/projects/<project_name>/datasets/<dataset_name>/tables/<table_name>/insertAll: Table <table_name> not found

Error: Google BigQuery Output (3): 404 GoogleAPIError NotFound: POST https://bigquery.googleapis.com/bigquery/v2/projects/<project_name>/datasets/<dataset_name>/tables/<table_name>/insertAll: Not found: table Table is deleted: <table_name>

Cause

Known product defect DE28086 (TSM-323).

Resolution

Defect DE28086 (TSM-323) has been fixed in the 3.0.0 version of the Google BigQuery Tools. This new version of the tools can be downloaded from the Community Gallery.
