Store user/server settings in a file

I want to keep my user settings, pinned palettes, and other configurations in a file. I can keep the file versioning purposes, backups, use across multiple machines, silent installs, and other uses.

It will make life easier. Thank you.

@seven  Great Ask!

That functionality does exist already. You can find the UserSettings.xml in "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Alteryx\Engine\<version>\"

The next step is to have a setting in Alteryx to control the location of this file and/or allow backups to target paths.
