Spatial Process Tool Enhancement

How about adding the ability to split intersecting trade areas at the points of intersection to create two new spatial objects.  The two objects could then be used to process customer records and divide them into "territories" based on  the line of intersection.

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but in the Trade Area tool, if you select the "Eliminate Overlap" option, the result seems to be what you're asking for.

If this isn't what you're looking for, I would look at using the Poly-Split tool to get the list of coordinates that define your polygon and find the points from each polygon that are the same (you might need to use CompareEpsilon if the points are stored as Double). This would give you the start and end points for your dividing line.
