Looking forward for a manual "interactive" way to finetune a decision tree...

The existing decision tree node is automatic

but business users need to mingle with the decision tree, prune the tree and grow certain parts of the tree using their domain expertise...

SPSS has a nice facility as you can see below... Desperately looking forward for an Alteryx version...

"The institute" has a similar capability and some potential clients are bound to this use case and willing to use the interactive decision tree training case... where you can force several variables not originally entering the tree, or change/perturb the split values most suitable to your business...

Hi @ Atabarezz, Can you elaborate more about your method? Where can I find "the institute"? I'm looking for a way to force split on a certain category in the first split, but cannot find a way to do that in Alteryx... Thanks!! Loretta

So far, unfortunately there is no interactive tree growing or pruning available...

Looking forward to it...
