Disable / Enable All Tool Containers

With a module that contains a lot of tool containers, it would be nice to have an option (similar to Disable All Tool That Write Output in the RunTime TAB) to disable all Tool Containers and then I can go pick the one or two that I would like to enable.

We are working on some other interesting ways to provide the option for users to only run part of a workflow.  While I don't believe we will implement it exactly the way you suggest, I hope we we can still meet the needs of your use case.

Really appreciate any update on the topic @LauraS or Team Alteryx.

This is very much needed to improve the efficiency of working people. This is very much needed. Is there any alternate to acheive this functionality.

Status changed to: Under Review

I am reviewing older Community ideas posts and found that this one has been updated in awhile.

We added the ability for people to disable and enable tool containers from the canvas without having to click into the configuration. I can see this helping the situation described, but it isn't a disable/enable all solution. Will you tell me a little more about when a feature to enable or disable all would be helpful?

Say you have ten containers on a work flow and you want to only run the first two. If you could disable all 10, then enable just two in question, it'd be faster than having to disable 8 individually (8 clicks versus 3).

this would be amazing! I have a pretty complex workflow that has around 20 containers in it that are enabled/disabled through interface tools. However, when I am developing or optimizing the different modules in the workflow, I have had to disable sometimes 14 or 15 workflows for this.

Another point, when expanding containers , it gets overlapped with other tools on canvas. So arranging and reading at times becomes difficult. Will there be any way this can also be addressed (like when a new tool is added to canvas workflow rearranges itself.
