Add HDFS Connection to Alias Manager

Currently with Alias Manager you can only create Aliases for database connections. 

We use HDFS Connections to write files to HDFS so it would be really useful to use an Alias especially when promoting workflows to Alteryx Server.

The status of this idea has been changed to 'Inactive'. This status indicates that:

1. The idea has not had activity in the form of likes or comments in over a year.

2. The idea has not reached ten likes.

3. The idea is still in the 'New Idea' status. 

However, this doesn't mean your idea won't be implemented! The Community can still like and comment on this idea. With enough renewed interest, this idea can be brought back into the 'New Idea' status.

Hello. Huge issue for us, it's crazy it's not solved !

Ok, pro-tip : when you want an in-memory connection alias to HDFS
1/connect to a file :

2/copy the connection string

3/ go to Options/Advanced Options/Mange Connections

4/Click on Add Connection, choose Other

5/Declare the name and copy the connection string from step2 and save. DO NOT USE THE ARROW!

6/you may have this error message when you first use this alias (invalid user name or password)

Don't panic !
Just edit the connection, change the password and save
