Not certain if Alteryx is possible to be used for this, instead of Splunk but is it possible to use Alteryx 2018.3 to look at server logs (if it's matters, they are from an IBM software called TSM) to open tickets on triggers from events in the logs. also, can this version (2018.3) create visualizations where we would have used qlikview to create them? thanks
@becki I would say yes, you can use Alteryx to analyze log files from TSM as long as the log files are in an appropriate data source format. I am not sure how logs are created in TSM, but you can use the run command or the events function (in the workflow settings) to trigger something when the workflow finishes.
For visuals, what kind of visuals are you creating? Is it simple graphs and charts or is it a live monitoring feed?
