"data field not found" render tool

My input has 9 columns and I just get a red "no valid fields"/"data field not founs" in the render tool as error preventing me prom proceeding.

Any ideas?

Hi @StephenF 

Fields used on the Render Tool have to be fields generated by other Reporting Tools.

You might need to use Table Tool to create the "Table Object" and then use this field as a Data Field.

I also recommend you to learn more about Reporting Tools (how to use Layout Tool, Table Tool etc.) so you can design your output in a desired way.

@Thableaus nailed it. Only Layout-type fields are valid there. They are denoted by blue text when viewing fields.
