countries/continents shape file

i am trying to get a set of polygons for each country or continent (i dont really care which), but i'm having trouble importing any of the shape files ive found on the internet

this one seems promising:
http://www.naturalearthdata.com/downloads/110m-cultural-vectors/110m-admin-0-countries/

but i'm getting errors like: "BRK_GROUP" is 0 length

does anyone know where i can get a simple set of polygons for continents or countries that will work with alteryx?
