Hello,

I'm trying to compare accounts by date and see if there was any rate change. What is a good way to do that? I need the report to open a new column that will show the new rate for the latest month (May). Basically compare 4/30 to 5/31 by the acc and then if the rate is different on 5/31 then put the new rate in column New Rate. How can i do this?

Hey @ntudev,

Here is one way to do this using the multi row formula tool:

If you want to learn more about the Multi-Row-Formula Tool the community has some quick and easy videos on the topic here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Interactive-Lessons/Multi-Row-Formula/ta-p/82872

Any questions or issues please ask :)

Multi-row formula.  But you don't mention what you want if the rates match.  In this example, I set the new rate to zero if they match.
