cannot see sql editor and the query in input tool in 2020 update

Hi,

I was using alteryx 2019 and there we cud see the sql query in the input tool.

Upon upgrading the version to 2020, i no more see a option of viewing the query in input tool.

when we open an already existing w/f from gallery.. the sql query in input tool disappears.

Also the unique tool's configuration disappears untill we run the w/f once.

Is thre a  workaround?

What happens when you click on the 3 dots next to the Table or Query setting in the configuration window? This should open the Visual Query Builder/SQL Editor. 

Have you already tried reestablishing the database connection in a new Input Data tool? If you have gone through all of these steps there may be an issue with your installation. Hopefully my suggestions help, but otherwise I would recommend sending an email to support@alteryx.com

no option or 3 dots in 2020.. In 2019, i am aware of this configuration option.

I think the issue is somehow the workflow is unable to translate the alias.

Have you tried create a fresh connection and see if the ... appears?
