Writing To a Table In a .xlsm Workbook on OneDrive

When writing to an Excel Workbook on One Drive or SharePoint and overwriting a table, the "link" to the workbook stays with the automated backup file and the file is assigned a new link.  Access to this workbook is controlled through another interface by the link.

Is there any way to overwrite a table and not break the One Drive or SharePoint link?

Apologies.  This was user error.  🙄

Apologies x2.   This is an issue.  The name of the .XLSM workbook is long and the "backup" appended to the name wasn't showing up when the Excel file was viewed on-line.

When writing to a Worksheet or Table that is on SharePoint or One Drive - the original file and it's on-line link is archived to a backup, then a new file is created.  The original link is stored in an application allowing consumers to access the workbook.  When they click on the link - they're seeing the backup file, not the current file.
